Forgejo

Runs Forgejo with a SQLite database as a Docker container. The install page is locked, public registration is off, and the admin account is created with a generated password. Git over SSH uses its own port, not the server's SSH port.

What you will be asked

You fill these in during setup.

  • Web interface port RequiredAdvanced settings
    The port the web interface listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
  • Git over SSH port RequiredAdvanced settings
    The port the git over ssh listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
  • Admin username RequiredAdvanced settings
    Name of the administrator account. The name admin is reserved by Forgejo.
  • Admin email Required
    Email address of the administrator account.
  • Admin password Made for you if left emptyAdvanced settings
    Password of the administrator account. Leave empty to generate one; it is shown once when the run finishes.

Reconnecting Could not reconnect The page is paused

The connection to the site dropped. We are bringing it back; your page stays as it is. Check your internet connection. We keep trying by ourselves, and the page reloads once the site answers. This page was paused to save resources. Resume it to continue.
