Script library
How apps are installed
The ideas behind the library, in plain words.
Four steps
- Pick a server you already have, or get a new one.
- Choose the apps you want from the library.
- Fill in the short form. Passwords and similar values can be made for you.
- We run the scripts on your server and show you the result: addresses, usernames and anything else you need.
Risk levels
Each script says how much it changes on the server. Read the level before you install.
- Safe
- Only reads or checks things; changes nothing.
- Low risk
- Installs or changes something small that is easy to undo.
- Medium risk
- Installs a program or a service. Most apps are here.
- High risk
- Changes important settings, such as the firewall, users or SSH access.
- Dangerous
- Can delete data or make the server unreachable. Use only if you know why you need it.

What we promise
- Installs run only scripts from this library. A script someone uploads is never run.
- Every script is public, so anyone can read exactly what it does.
- The values you fill in are stored encrypted, and passwords are never written to logs.
