K3s

High risk: Kubernetes changes the host network. K3s adds firewall (iptables) rules, loads the br_netfilter and overlay kernel modules, runs as root and listens on port 6443. Installs the checked K3s binary through the official install script (also checked) with its own download turned off. The bundled Traefik and load balancer are off by default, so ports 80 and 443 stay free. Use at least 2 GB of memory.

  • Enable bundled Traefik ingress RequiredAdvanced settings
    When true, K3s also starts its own Traefik ingress and load balancer, which take ports 80 and 443 on this server (they must be free). When false (default) neither is deployed and you bring your own ingress.
