Portainer CE

Runs Portainer CE as a Docker container with access to the Docker socket (root-level control of this server). The admin account is created at the first start with a generated password, so nobody else can claim it.

  • Web interface (HTTPS) port RequiredAdvanced settings
    The port the web interface (https) listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
  • Local-only HTTP check port RequiredAdvanced settings
    The port the local-only http check listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
  • Admin password Made for you if left emptyAdvanced settings
    Password of the Portainer user admin. Leave empty to generate one; it is shown once when the run finishes. It only applies to a first install: if a password file from an earlier run exists, that file stays and decides the password.

Reconnecting Could not reconnect The page is paused

The connection to the site dropped. We are bringing it back; your page stays as it is. Check your internet connection. We keep trying by ourselves, and the page reloads once the site answers. This page was paused to save resources. Resume it to continue.
