PostgreSQL
Runs PostgreSQL 18 in Docker on port 5432 (changeable). By default the port is bound to 127.0.0.1, so only programs on this server reach it. With 'Open to the internet' the port is published on all addresses and Docker bypasses the ufw firewall for it, so limit the source addresses yourself. About 256 MB of RAM. The password is generated and kept in a root-only file.

What you will be asked
You fill these in during setup.

- Database name RequiredThe database created on the first start, lowercase letters, digits and underscores. Changing it later does not rename an existing database.
- Database user RequiredThe user created on the first start; it owns the database. Changing it later does not rename an existing user.
- Open to the internet RequiredAdvanced settingsWhen true, the port is reachable from any address, protected only by the generated password, and Docker bypasses the ufw firewall for it. Leave false unless a remote program must connect.
