Monitoring
SigNoz
Runs SigNoz v0.145.0 in 6 Docker containers: web app, OpenTelemetry collector, ClickHouse with Keeper, PostgreSQL and a one-time migration job. About 0.9 GB download, 4 GB RAM and 2 CPU cores at least, plus disk that grows with your telemetry. Left out: multi-node ClickHouse layouts and demo apps. The database password is generated into /opt/iranux/signoz/.env (root only).

What you will be asked
You fill these in during setup.
- Web interface port RequiredAdvanced settingsThe port the web interface listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
- OTLP receiver (gRPC) port RequiredAdvanced settingsThe port the otlp receiver (grpc) listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
- OTLP receiver (HTTP) port RequiredAdvanced settingsThe port the otlp receiver (http) listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
- Expose the OTLP receivers RequiredAdvanced settingsWhen false (default) the OTLP ports (4317 gRPC, 4318 HTTP) listen on 127.0.0.1 only, so only programs on this server can send telemetry (others use an SSH tunnel). When true they listen on all addresses and accept data from anyone without a key, and a ufw rule cannot filter them: limit them with the provider firewall or the DOCKER-USER chain.
