VictoriaMetrics

Runs single-node VictoriaMetrics as a Docker container with HTTP basic authentication (user admin, generated password kept in a root-only file). Creates /opt/iranux/victoriametrics and keeps it running after reboots.

What you will be asked

You fill these in during setup.

  • HTTP API and web interface port RequiredAdvanced settings
    The port the http api and web interface listens on. The default is fine unless another service already uses it.
  • Data retention RequiredAdvanced settings
    How long to keep metrics, a number with a unit: d (days), w (weeks), M (months) or y (years), for example 90d or 12M. The minimum is 1d.
  • Password for the user admin Made for you if left emptyAdvanced settings
    Leave empty to generate one; it is shown once when the run finishes. An existing password from an earlier run is kept. Every request to the address must use the user admin and this password.

Reconnecting Could not reconnect The page is paused

The connection to the site dropped. We are bringing it back; your page stays as it is. Check your internet connection. We keep trying by ourselves, and the page reloads once the site answers. This page was paused to save resources. Resume it to continue.
